There has been a long break , exploring has taken a back seat but it’s time to get back out there. I have a new companion, Mabel an Airedale Terrier puppy who is coming out to discover the world with me. Fresh eyes all round and a sense of wonder at the amazing sights we find.
A new coastal area I visited in August has stuck in my mind . Botany Bay , just past Margate. Brilliant white cliffs and the sea was 16 degrees for a paddle and amazingly clear. Winchelsea beach a childhood haunt was another August paddle.
Looking forward to plenty of exploring this Autumn with Mabel.
