Autumn  is in full flow.

OCTOBER 7th

As Autumn moves forward the number of bright flower spots decreases . The seeds and structures of plants are more visible and the colours are changing not just on the trees but also in the tall herbs and other plants.The thistles that were tall and purple a few weeks ago are brown and beginning to stoop.  If I encounter some flowers still in bloom they will find their way to this page.

Spring 2019

Cowslips appearing in April on a Burial mound in Notgrove on the Cotswolds. These flowers carpet the road verges where I live in Northamptonshire.
